Shifting Gears: Launching Shopify Ecommerce
Tasked with establishing a dynamic online presence for Shift, our goal extended beyond creating just another e-commerce website; we aimed to encapsulate the essence of adventure and innovation that electric bikes offer. Our brief was to design an intuitive, visually compelling platform that not only highlights the features of Shift products but delivers a user-friendly experience that converts visitors into customers. We used the Shopify e-commerce platform to make the backend as easy to use as possible for management, while implementing bespoke modules to deliver product variation options giving customers more choice while shopping.
What we delivered
- Responsive Design – Crafted a flexible, responsive web design, ensuring an optimal viewing experience across various devices, enhancing user engagement and accessibility.
- Ecommerce Platform – Developed using the intuitive Shopify e-commerce platform, facilitating a smooth journey from product discovery to checkout, supported by robust backend functionalities.
- Easy Inventory Management – The client wanted to move away from WooCommerce due to their past experiences of that backend and onto a more streamlined platform for easy inventory management and order processing.
- Visual Identity – Established a strong visual identity that aligns with Shift's brand values, using high-quality images and an on-brand cohesive colour scheme to engage visitors.
- Product Showcasing – Utilised interactive elements and detailed product descriptions to highlight the unique features and benefits of each e-bike, encouraging informed purchase decisions.
- Bespoke Module – Built a customised module that allows each bike to show unique key specifications such as brakes and battery life. Something the standard Shopify install doesn't provide out the box.
